Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Help maintain accurate care plans and document any changes in residents' conditions.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment.
Assist with mobility and adhering to Moving & Handling policies and procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the care environment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care is provided.

Requirements

A minimum of 6 months recent and relevant experience in a care home setting is essential.
Clear DBS Check.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the individual needs of residents.
A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
