Trainee Fabricator

Working Hours: Mon–Thur 7:30am–4:30pm, Fri 7:30am–2:00pm

Responsibilities

• Assist in the fabrication of metal components from technical drawings.
• Work with mild and stainless steel using MIG/TIG welding techniques (training provided if needed).
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures, wear PPE, and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
• Meet production times and quality standards.
• Deburr, clean, and prepare materials to a high standard before assembly.
• Support skilled team members and show a willingness to learn new fabrication techniques.
• Complete daily timesheets accurately and comply with ISO 9001 standards.

Knowledge/Experience

• Previous experience in general fabrication or metalwork preferred.
• Basic understanding of fabrication drawings and workshop practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious
